(in memoriam) H.M Soeharto

H.M Soeharto

Known as the second president of Republic of Indonesia, H.M. Soeharto due to his ages and health problem is in critical condition. As Indonesian, he have so many contribution to this country, more than two decades of his “new order” regime had brought Indonesia to the top level of economic improvement and political prestige especially in South East Asian. Despite of his corruption cases, I will always remembered him as our great nation leader. Hope and pray for him.

Is this some kind of a pre-condolence note?
    He’s not dead yet.

He has been a great father and husband though. That is what I respect most from him.

    Great blog, btw.

    @ Marisa,

Actually its not a pre-condolence note, just remembering his greatness as a former president, and hope for his condition up to critical as his health team said 50-50 chance of his life. thanks for visiting, I also one of your blog admirer.

    @ GBM,
yeap his Soeharto, but who knows dude?

    @ Yonna,
Kasihan juga ngeliat nya kalau hidupnya sudah tergantung dengan alat kesehatan yang ada, apa gak sebaiknya di doakan saja. Biar cepet sembuh maksudnya, Amin.

Recently, MM Lee of Singapore said, Soeharto is not getting the honors he deserve.

I have no personal comments since I am not familiar with Soeharto’s time, except that he has probably managed to establish a national identity for Indonesia.

Yeap, you really live up to your slogan: you do see it differently. And probably think differently as well.

I mean at least different from the view of quite a number of those who had the bad luck to be around in ‘65/’66.
